Purpose: To evaluate the visual and surgical outcomes of DSAEK for endothelial disorders. Methods: Prospective, non-comparative study.50 eyes of 50 patients with endothelial dysfunctions of different etiology, scheduled for DSAEK from Dec2015-Nov2016,were included.Indications, operative problems and postoperative complications were noted. At 6 month follow up Best corrected visual acuity and endothelial cell density (ECD) were analyzed. Results:Common indications-Pseudophakic bullous keratopathy in 26(52%) eyes,14 (28%) had Fuchs′ dystrophy,6(12%) had phakic bullous keratopathy and 4(8%) had aphakic bullous keratopathy (ABK). DSAEK+SFIOL was done in these 4 cases. At 6 month, BCVA was ≥6/60 in 30 cases. The ECD was 2068.9±453.76/sq mm. Dislocation of donor lenticule occurred in 3 and graft failure occurred in 4 cases. Conclusion: DSAEK is a safe and effective procedure in patients with endothelial dysfunctions and it can be safely combined with SFIOL in patients with ABK.
