We report an interesting case of a 55 years old lady presented with discoloration of left eye noticed two weeks back by her attendant. History of pars plana vitrectomy two months back was given. Visual acuity was 6/6 in right eye and perception of light in left eye. Ocular examination revealed white dotted lesions all over the corneal surface. On slit lamp examination bandage contact lens was visualised with underneath white fungal-like multiple lesions. The contact lens was removed .The corneal surface revealed thinning, however the bandage contact lens was studded with microbial contaminants. The contact lens was sent for microscopic examination and culture. KOH staining was positive for fungus. Culture of the contact lens proved the fungal contamination. The patient was given treatment for keratitis and anti glaucoma therapy for impending perforation.Care and hygiene steps should be reinforced to the patient.
