INTRODUCTION Extended scleral flap is not an uncommon complication in the hands of beginners and where large scleral incisions are needed.These cases are managed by putting sutures.However sutures are associated with many complications.Fibrin glue,although widely used as wound sealent has not been used to seal scleral incisions in SICS till now.AIM To demonstrate how fibrin glue can be used effectively and safely in sealing extended scleral flap in SICS.METHOD FibrinGlue was used to seal extended scleral flap in SICS. AC reaction,wound integrity,IOP and AC depth was observed on first postop day and end of one,four and six weeks respectively.RESULTThere was no unexpected AC reaction and IOP was WNL,AC Normal depth, in all visits. SIA was +1.58D at 171degree at the end of 6weeks.CONCLUSION Fibrin Glue is safe and effective in sealing extended scleral incisions in SICS and can be used as an alternative to sutures without having suture related complications
