Purpose: Glaucoma Drainage Devices (GDDs) play a significant role in the treatment of refractory glaucomas in both children and adults.
Materials and Methods: Although GDD’s are safe and effective, longterm tube and plate related complications can be sight threatening.
Results: Postoperative tube related and implant plate related complications, their early identification and appropriate management strategies are presented in this video.
Conclusion: Early recognition and successful management of these complications can go a long way in saving these eyes with complex glaucomas
