Continuous Curvilinear Capsulorhexis (CCC) has become recognized as the standard method of anterior capsulectomy. Techniques employed for CCC have undergone various evolution. The present video evaluates the principles of CCC in the presence of mid dilated pupil and mature cataract with thickened anterior capsule for uneventful phacoemulsification and foldable intraocular lens implantation. Patient improved from perception of light (PL) to 6/9 unaided on 1st postoperative day. Techniques of rescue of an extending capsulorhexis are also shown in the present video.
