Facial trauma is often associated with orbital fracture. Floor fractures are common and can cause herniation of orbital contents, muscle entrapment, unresolving oculocardiac effect and enophthalmos. Though watchful obervation is recommended, surgical intervention is required to correct diplopia, release the entraped muscle and restore the orbital volume. The bone defect can be repaired and voulme can be replaced with bone grafts or implants. The surgical technique includes understanding the orbital anatomy, meticulous tissue dissection, restoration of herniated tissues and repair of the bone defect. This video aims to highlight the important tips and tricks in the management of orbital fractures to help ophthalmologists effectively manage such cases.
