We present 10 misdiagnosed ocular oncology cases with clinical photographs of the presenting clinical signs. We will highlight the key clinical features in all these cases for clenching the proper diagnosis and thus preventing profound implications of misdiagnosis in ocular oncology. The different cases are ocular surface squamous neoplasia misdiagnosed as scleritis and as viral keratitis, conjunctival keratoacanthoma as epidermoid cyst, missed orbital metastasis in a case of secondary glaucoma, conjunctival lymphoma as subconjunctival fat prolapse, multiple myeloma as thyroid ophthalmopathy, malignant eyelid tumors as entropion and as blepharitis, Coats disease with gliotic nodule misdiagnosed as retinoblastoma, and retinoblastoma as microphthalmos with orbital cyst. This aims to create eye cancer awareness and educate ophthalmologists regarding the possibilities of misdiagnoses and their effects on an individual patient’s morbidity and mortality and aid in correct diagnosis.
