Purpose : Determine predictive accuracy of IOL power formulae in eyes with open(OA) and closed angles(CA) compared to SRK II Methods:Chart review of 38 eyes with OAand 42 with CAwho underwent PE with IOLimplantation .Agreement between the Haigis , HofferQ ,Barret’s,Holladay and SRKT formulae andSRK II were calculated for target refraction of -0.5D.Results:Mean axial length was 23.37(1.9) mm and AC depth 3.04(0.37)mm in open angles and 22.47 (0.92) mm (p- 0.002) and 2.59 (0.34)in angle closure (p- 0.005).Mean refractive error difference(actual post- op refraction – predicted refraction ) were 0.020 (0.49) and 0.027 (0.47 ).Agreement for predicted post op refraction compared to SRK II was least for Holladay -0.18( 95 %CI 1.06- -1.43 ) and Hoffer Q of -0.75 ( 95% CI 1.04 to -2.25 ) in OA and CA and maximum for SRK T of 0.05 (95% CI 1.16 to -1.05) and -0.13 (95%CI 1.49 to -1.77)in both groups .Conclusion : SRK T had a better predictive accuracy in both groups
