Dr.Subhadra Jalali
Retinopathy of Prematurity is emerging as an important but preventable cause of childhood blindness in low, middle and high income countries all over the world including India. Low awareness among health care professionals and lack of trained specialists are few important barriers in expansion of ROP services in India. Recent years have seen that young Ophthalmologists keen to learn about ROP have less exposure to various clinical types and management options. This course uses Case based pictorial approach to ROP diagnosis and management. It will provide the practical aspects of all clinical presentations and various management options besides newer concepts in the rehabilitation of children blind from ROP.
The course will be like a hands-on visual content to make a lasting impression and serve as a Clinical guide to ROP care. Every instructor on this course has substantial experience about not only the clinical subject but also teaching and training students in this field.
