Refractive surgery today has entered mainstream ophthalmology and there is a need for every general ophthalmologist to have a working knowledge of the same . This course is designed to initiate practising
ophthalmologists in to refractive surgery, from screening patients, choice of procedures, use of microkeratomes, post-operative care as well as proper avoidance of complications and if they occur how to manage the same. The course also aims to provide a platform for general ophthalmologists already practicising refractive surgery to update themselves with the newer trends and interact with the highly experienced panel of faculty to clear their doubts .
