Video assisted skill transfer ( VAST) is emerging as an immensely popular mode of teaching and imparting both surgical and Non-surgical skills . The visuals have a greater impact in conveying a particular message
or in teaching a technique for performing a procedure or surgery.

A picture is worth a thousand words; so also a visual is worth a hundred lectures. The visualisation of the same provides cues for recalling the task. Being related to context the cues become very effective.
