Methods:40eyes of 40 patients were prospectively enrolled with20eyes in each group. Keratometry and Orbscan were used to assess the SIA. SIA was assessed using Power vector analysis. Results: The median [Inter quartile range (IQR)] change in SIA obtained through keratometry was -0.01D(-0.37, 0.19D) in J0 & 0.01D(0, 0.27D) in J45 components for gr1 and -0.03D(-0.24, 0.41D) in J0 & -0.12D(-0.22, 0) in J45components for gr2. The median change in SIA obtained through Orbscan was 0.11D(-0.09, 0.36D) in J0 & -0.05D(-0.13, 0.14D) in J45 in gr1; it was 0 D(-0.20, 0.37D) in J0 and -0.03 D(-0.11, 0.13D) in J45 in gr2. Vector decomposition on the induced vector cylinders(VC) on keratometry was 0.75D(1.25, 0.55) in gr1 and 0.99D(1.50, 0.36) in gr2(p=0.62); VC on Orbscan was 0.75D(0.97, 0.31) in gr1 and 0.69D(1.34, 0.42) in gr2(p=0.52).Conclusion:The surgically induced astigmatism as measured by keratometry and topography was similar in the single-site versus twin-site phaco trabeculectomy groups.
