Collagen cross-linking has over the past decade become a mainstay in managing ectatic corneal disorders. This comprehensive course will begin by delving into the pathophysiological alteration in corneal biomechanics and their changes after cross linking. The course will then switch gears and discuss the nuances of newer protocols of accelerated, transepithelial & techniques for crosslinking thin corneas and will provide tips on how and where to use them . An insight would be provided into advanced & evolving cross linking procedures including cross linking for correction of low myopia, combining cross linking with refractive procedures & customized cross linking. Following a brief overview of managing complications specific to cross linking, the course will conclude by providing the audience with a perspective on how we should be using cross linking and the path ahead.
