Dr.Mohita Sharma
Presbyopia correction is a challenge for any ophthalmologist. Over the last few years many new modalities have become available to overcome this challenge. These include the corneal procedures like Presbylasik and inlays for patients with clear crystalline lens or those who are Pseudophakic. For patients who have lenticular changes there are intraocular procedures like multifocal and trifocal IOLs, accommodative IOLs, monovision with monofocal IOLs and extended range of vision IOLs. Each procedure has its own indications as well as pros and cons. This course will highlight the indications, techniques, pros and cons and complications of these modalities along with pearls on how to achieve the best possible outcomes in this segment of patients. At the end of this course the ophthalmologist will be able to choose the best possible modality for individual patients as per their needs
