Posterior uveitis remains an important and potentially blinding disease which needs early diagnosis and treatment. Diagnosis of specific uveitis entities and differentiation between infective and non-infective causes can be of paramount importance as treatment is completely divergent. The important clues to differentiate these conditions will be outlined and the common entities will be discussed on a case-based approach. The role of investigations and imaging and treatment will also be elaborated by experienced Uvea consultants. This shall be followed by an interactive discussion.
