Dr.Giridhar Anantharaman
The spectrum of proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) requiring vitrectomy and allied procedures varies from simple to complicated. The surgical challenges in each entity of PDR are different and requires differing instrumentation and many times improvisation on the operating table. This course, from a panel of experienced experts, aims to address pearls and pitfalls in various sub-categories of PDR and emphasize the facts that no one technique can work for the varied spectrum of PDR and that one size does not fit all. The course will be an eye opener for budding V. R. Surgeons.
