Objectives- compare rotational stability of hydrophobic acrylic toric IOL measured using digital photos with aberrometry & subjective refraction.Methods- Prospective, interventional study, 21 eyes of patients with >1 D astigmatism & undergoing phaco were implanted with the same toric IOL.Intra op alignment done using CALLISTO EYE, monitored post op upto 3months to assess rotational stability by subjective refraction, digital slitlamp photo with software (photo measure v4.2 by big blue pixel Inc) to measure angles & ITRACE aberrometry.RESULTS- At 3 mo, 82% of eyes showed uncorrected visual acuity of 20/25 or better. Mean refractive astigmatism reduced to -0.52±0.18D from -2.5±0.57D. The mean rotation of the IOL by aberrometry was 3.45±3.390 & by digital photos was 6±40 at 3mo. 1 eye exhibited IOL rotation of 10.30.Conclusions-Aberrometry is more accurate with values corresponding with subjective refraction (p>0.05). Digital photos had a corroboratory role in rotational stability testing
