PP211 : Eyelid Tumor Surprises

The poster presents a series of 5 interesting cases of unique and uncommonly seen eyelid tumors which presented as histopathological surprise on biopsy. The pathologies that would be presented in this poster include Angiosarcoma, Adenoid cystic carcinoma of eyelid, Myxoid Neurothekeoma, Sweat Gland Carcinoma and Myxoma of the eyelid.
Underlying message from this poster would be to stress upon the need for histopathology even in innocuous looking eyelid lesions as there is always a possibility of an underlying malignancy masquerading as a harmless entity. The poster would also comment upon subtle clinical signs that can be helpful in making the clinical diagnosis in suspicious lesions.
