Purpose

• Varied posterior segment presentations following febrile illness – viral/ bacterial/protozoal.
• Aimed at documenting the posterior segment findings, clinical course and response to systemic steroid.

Subject/Method

• Retrospective review of case .
• 13 eyes of 11 patients over a period of 6 months from January 2015 – June 2016.
• Data collected included, baseline BCVA, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography(FFA) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and follow up BCVA and OCT.
• All underwent relevant laboratory investigations.
• Vitreous sample PCR was subjected in those patients who did not have specific aetiology.
• All completed a follow-up of 6 months.
