Methods-18 eyes of 18 patients with clinical features of stromal keratitis and proven microsporidial cysts in confocal microscopy were included in this study from January 2014 to December 2016. Patients were treated with 0.3% fluconazole eye drops alone or in combination with lower dose of steroids depending upon the clinical condition of the patients. Results-The mean age was 32 years. All patients presented with painful loss of vision and photo phobia. Corneal sensation was absent in 12(66%) patients and normal in 6(33%). The mean visual acuity was 6/36. Most common clinical finding was stromal edema with typical stromal folds. Confocal microscopy was positive in 14(77%) patients, corneal scraping for grams stain was positive in 4(23%) patients. All patients received topical fluconazole and 13(72%) patients were given topical steroids along with it. The mean time to heal was 2 months. The final visual acuity was 6/9. 7(38%) patients lost follow up 11(62%) had complete resolution.
