Binocularity is a pre-requisite for Binocular Vision (BV).Unilateraly enucleated Rb children are deprived of privileges of BV. However, early in life they possess neural plasticity and may adapt ways to overcome deficits of binocularity. Methods:Observational series in 10uniocularly enucleated Rb children (4-8years) assessing VF by evaluation of visualfield, stereopsis, reading, writing. In addition, day-to-day activities like pouring water in cup, getting down the stairs were observed. Performances were graded based on ease/difficulty in execution of task. Results:Uniformly constrained VF,lack of stereopsis, faring well on reading &writing tasks.Complex activities-walking down the stairs or pouring water in cup were poorly performed initially but with repetitive attempts (weeks-months) using indirect cues, the skill was mastered. Conclusion:Use of indirect cues by children to reach end point of a task ascertain that they can live normal lives not limited by their lack of binocularity.
