Purpose:To evaluate the efficacy&safety of Trab+ MMC in OAG Vs ACG .Methods:It’s a retrospective analysis of pts who underwent Trab+MMC &followed for3 yrs , grp1- open angle(n=41),grp2 (n=67)angle closure glaucoma .Results:108 eyes of108pts were included.Mean preop IOP in grp1 was 31.4±10.5mmhg& grp2 was33.1± 9.4 which reduced10.5±3.4,10.5±2.6,11.6±3.6,11.0±2.7,11.0±2.7in gr1&10.9±2.8, 12.0±3.8,12.8±4.9,12.4±3.9, 12.4±3.7in gr2with p value=0.566,0.032, 0.168,0.049,0.049 at 3,6m ,1,2,3 yr respectively.IOP reduction in both grps is highly significant with p =<0.001 at each visit.no of AGM was reduced from0.75± 0.89 to0.43±0.55 at3yr(p-0.002).Postop complications were Hypotony1.8%,CD2.8%,encapsulated bleb2.8%,Bleb leakage1.8% .post op complications were more in grp2 (11.9%) compared to gr1(4.8%).complete success in grp1was 68.3%& qualified success 31.7%while in gr-2,was 55.2%&41.8% respectively.Conclusion:Trab+MMC is safe & effective in both grps with good success & low complications.
