Introduction : Ocular manifestations can be the presenting signs or symptoms in up to 90% of patients with hematological disorder.
Purpose : To highlight the retinal manifestations of haematological disorders.
Method : Case series Cases: We present 3 distinct Cases of haematogenous retinopathy along with detailed documentation of clinical features, management and final outcome. (1) 5-year-old female, a Case of ALL in blast crisis with optic nerve and brain involvement presented with retinal haemorrhages and detachment. (2) 13-year-old anaemic male child presented with roth spots in the macular area, and was diagnosed as hb E disease. (3) 14-year-old female with severe microcytic hypochromic anaemia presented with multiple scattered roth spots in the fundus. All the Cases were managed successfully through a multidisciplinary approach.
Conclusion : The retinal findings associated with the various hematological disorders necessitate an evaluation and intervention by an ophthalmologist.
