We report an unusual case of intrastromal corneal worm. 8 year old boy presented with foreign body sensation,redness& visual disturbances of right eye since 4 days. Patient came with history of trauma with wood in RE visual acuity of 3/9.5 in RE&3/6 in LE by Lea chart. Slitlamp examination revealed a white coiled structure from 10to12o’clock in peripheral superficial corneal stroma with surrounding infiltration,cilliary congestion and anterior uveitis.Routine blood investigations,X-ray chest,abdominal ultrasound,stool routine were within normal limits.Oral albendazole 15mg/kg/day and steroid 1mg/kg/day along with local antibiotics and topical steroides started.Excisional corneal biopsy done under general anaesthesia.On histopathology worm diagnopsed to be Angiostrongylus Cantonensis. With treatment patients status improved significantly with resoulation of anterior uveitis and healing of corneal defect with RE acuity 3/6 by Lea chart.Post operative period uneventful till six months
