Patient presented with Dacryocystitis of LEFT Eye.
All routine investigations NORMAL.
During DCR Surgery, Cauliflower type of growth seen.
Bleeding during Dissection.
Tumor excised along with Sac.
Histopathology reported Papillary Transitional Cell Neoplasm with focus of situ TRANSITIONAL cell carcinoma.
As advised, CT Scan specified small heterogeneously soft tissue density mass lesion at medical canthal region of Left orbital cavity involving Nasolacrimal sac causing Necrosis of Nasal bone, involving Nasolacrimal duct and Anterior Ethmoidal Air Sinus.
Inference:
Acute and Chronic Dacryocystitis with Bloody Discharge in the Eye. Mass felt above medical canthus, in the slightest doubt, ENT examination and CT Scan in suspected cases. Long Term follow up.
