We report a case of an elderly male, non-diabetic, who was a known case of primary open angle glaucoma. He was on latanoprost eye drops for the past three years. He sustained a minor injury to the right eye and developed a corneal abrasion. In spite of treatment with antibiotics and tear supplements, the corneal abrasion failed to heal for more than a week. Then latanoprost was stopped and a b-blocker was added. Following this, the abrasion healed completely. The impact of glaucoma medication in corneal wound healing should be kept in mind.
