This prospective study done at a tertiary eye care hospital from April 2015 to Feb.2017 to outline the detail evaluation of lens induced glaucomas,their presentation,management,intra & postop complications,pre & postop.IOP control & visual outcome following cataract surgery with iol implantation.Study included 86 consecutive eyes with LIG.Eyes with long standing raised iop & with defective projection of light rays were also included.Based on the clinical findings,etilogical diagnosis of LIG was made.Appropriate medical management was given followed by surgery.There was a significant difference between IOP at presentation and at 3 month followup .4 eyes required long term antiglaucoma medication.No significant intra & postop complications were noted.BCVA improved in 83 eyes.3 eyes had no improvement in VA but they were symptomatically better.Cataract surgery & iol implantation is safe & effective in controlling iop & achieving good visual acuity in management of LIGs
