Dr.Pradeep Sharma
Strabismus surgery is a challenging field with the goal post changing from cosmesis to stereopsis. This makes it a challenge to align, and not just operate, the eyes early enough to ensure stereopsis in childhood. Also tackling the complex problems due to Third nerve palsy, Duane retraction syndrome, Synergistic divergence and other congenital cranial dysinnervation disorders as well as adult onset aberrant regenerations is a challenge too. But with newer “surgical strikes” the goal can be achieved and this pursuit of stereopsis can be an enchanting “StrabisMusical” experience and the” Surge-on” can go on!
