Dr.Ramesh Venkatesh

Biomedical researchers carry out studies in various settings: in the laboratory, in the clinic, in the field or simply with data already archived in databases. Whatever the source, data tends to exhibit substantial variability. Statistics is the science of analyzing data and drawing conclusions in the face of variability and uncertainty. In this course on biostatistics for ophthalmologists we show how to use statistics in a simple manner to describe and analyze the data and draw relevant conclusions from it. This course will be useful for all postgraduates, fellows, junior and senior faculty doing clinical research.
