Peeling the ILM may be easy for some, but entering private practice arena for the first time is a formidable challenge for every vitreoretinal surgeon, fresher or experienced. The dynamics of a retina practice differ substantially from those in an anterior segment practice. From substantial financial investment to building up practice to managing staff and interactions with referral doctors- there are several tribulations on the way. This course aims to delve on these very issues, with faculty presenting their experiences and sharing lessons learnt over their journey of establishing retina practices. This interactive session will enable participants to put forth their queries and peculiar situations faced to the panel to generate their suggestions and find solutions to these start-up or teething issues.
