Dr.Savari Desai
Oculoplasty Clinics span a wide range of cases. We are often trained well surgically and well versed with primary untouched cases. However, what happens when we have to deal with those cases, which may recur, leave residual deformity, need a repeat correction or a revision. Cases such as a recurrent senile entropion,a failed DCR surgery, badly repaired eyelid tear or a over or undercorrected ptosis surgery and exposed orbital implants are just some of the cases which we see in our clinics. The scenarios can further involve decision making in the choice of materials we use, and the surgery we choose to do, in these previously operated cases. Every surgeon who does oculoplasty cases has to be prepared to review, rework and revise these cases. This instruction course will take you through a few clinical scenarios in a video and didactic format to help you review and revise these cases, to learn those tips required to assess and to achieve the best results
