The advent of micro-incision vitrectomy has resulted in a paradigm shift in the surgical management of retinal detachments (RD). However, complex retinal detachments such as those associated with giant retinal tears, choroidal coloboma, recurrent detachments associated with proliferative vitreo-retinopathy and those secondary to a necrotizing retinitis can pose a significant challenge both to the novice surgeon as well as the experienced one. It is important to do such cases right at the first go itself. This video based interactive IC aims to cover the practical tips and pearls in the management of such complicated retinal detachments
