Macular surgery is one of the most satisfying surgery requiring skill and patience, best of instruments. Knowledge about vitreo-retinal interface and tissue healing helped us a lot. Small gauge vitrectomy instruments also helping us to explore new methods for the macular and submacular surgeries. Starting with epiretinal membrane peeling to macular hole surgeries in different situations with tissues and with dyes, all are well explained and discussed. Retinal detachment with macular hole and perfluorocarbon liquids tissues below detached retina needs different surgical skills.
Submacular haemorrhage severely decreases the vision and sometimes submacular surgery is the only resort. The uses of perfluoro carbon liquids, high density oil help us to deal with it. The course is crafted in an interactive way with videos and by well-known accomplished surgeons in their fields to make it a worthy experience for all who will attend and definitely help them to become better surgeons.
