Dr. Dinesh Talwar
The last decade has seen the emergence of Optical Coherence Tomography as a work horse for ophthalmologists with implications for management not only of retinal vascular disorders and macular degeneration, but also for management of anterior segment disorders. Today OCT has become versatile enough to play a role in diagnosis of corneal conditions and glaucoma besides the conventional role in diagnosis and management of many exudative retinal disorders. Oct angiography has emerged as another important off shoot of OCT with
exciting potential for improving our understanding of the vascular pathophysiology of the retina. This course shall provide to all its participants sufficient cognitive skills to be able to correctly interpret OCT changes in the cornea, glaucoma and retina in majority of common clinical situations by the time it concludes. A combination of a didactic and interactive approach will be used to optimize the understanding of all participants.
