CONCEPT :
This is a session with lot of science, fun , excitement and also luck . unlike the regular quiz, any delegate present in the hall can participate and win prizes.
It consists of a mix of regular housie with a twist. The numbers of this Tambola are not drawn as a blind take from the bowl. Instead that is the prerogative of the delegate to choose the number. But to choose the numbers in His/Her lucky ticket, they have to answer correctly a question asked.
There are 90 questions which are pre set and hidden behind a hyper link. First number is taken out by random choice. Say the number is 5. Computer clicks the hyperlink on the number 5 and out pops a question. The question is to be answered by any delegate in the house. If they answer correctly, they are given a Chocolate,
and the most important is the opportunity to choose the next number. obviously, the delegate who answered the previous question correctly is going to pick a number from his or her own ticket. The numbers announced are open for all the ticket holders in the hall. so this process of answering and choosing the next number keeps
going on till the prizes are won. If some question is not answered, then we pick up a random number from the bowl.
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM THE ROUTINE QUIZ :
Senior and practicing clinicians usually do not go to the quiz as it is too much of science and theory. They have no incentive to be a part of this programme as they cannot answer and cannot win. In Our Housie cum quiz EVERY DELEGATE CAN WIN. This makes it exciting.
