we describe four cases of peribulbar block related globe perforation in four eyes of four patients posted for planned surgeries. 3 patients were posted for planned cataract surgery while one patient was planned for pterygium surgery. In 1 of the patient the perforation was identified early and drug was not injected. This patient developed a retinal detachment and was managed with vitreo retinal surgery with gas injection. Two of the patients were diagnosed with perforation post op and were managed with VRSx with SOI with fair gain in vision. One of the patient presented 2 months after the injury with no light perception and was managed conservatively.
