To report innovations in management of cases with anterior segment foreign bodies in different regions that is the cornea, anterior chamber and lens. Parameters assessed included vision, nature and location of the foreign body and extent of damage. The aim was to review the management and highlight use of available resources in a modified manner for successful anatomical and functional outcomes. Here we utilised properties of viscodispersive agents for effective separation of foreign bodies from surrounding adhesions with minimal collateral damage. Following which they were easily removed using Kelman-McPherson or Intravitreal forceps depending on the nature of foreign body encountered. An intraoperative OCT guided intervention for intracorneal foreign body enabled safe lamellar dissection and subsequent removal. The study demonstrates unique usage of surgical instruments and devices for safe removal of anterior segment foreign bodies providing good outcomes.
