Introduction: Endophthalmitis is an inflammation of the interior structures of the eye predominantly due to infection. Traumatic endophthalmitis is known to occur following ocular trauma. It is one of the most important causes of loss of vision following trauma. It is a dreaded complication feared by the ophthalmologist since it is has a poor prognosis.
Method: A case series of patients diagnosed with traumatic endophthalmitis. USG examination, fundus photo, anterior segment photo was taken. Treatment was done in two stages. In the first stage they were treated by intravitreal injection. In the second stage they underwent vitrectomy after reduction in inflammation following the first stage. Then the patients underwent vitrectomy(2nd stage). Anterior segment photo, USG and fundus Photograph were taken at every follow up.
Conclusion: Early diagnosis and appropriate intervention leads to good visual outcome to in Traumatic Endophthalmitis.
