Sharing a surgical video of bilateral blind patient with post chemical burn cicatrisation.Both eyes having ocular surface covered by highly vascularised sheet of scar tissue covering whole of cornea , oblitrating fornices with symblephron and cicatrical entropion.
The procedure performed is a pkp with symblephron release ,fornices re-construction and limbal stem cells – conjunctival grafting for right eye under local anaesthesia.
Video includes surgical procedure ,follow up photos depicting visual rehablitation with improvement of ocular surface.
