We describe femtosecond laser assisted management of three cataract cases with varying severity of subluxation. First case had 3-clock hours subluxation and FLACS was completed with IOL in bag. Second case had 6-clock hours subluxation and vitreous in AC. Femtosecond laser pre-treatment was followed by phacoemulsification with aid of capsule-support hooks. CTR and IOL were implanted in the bag. Third case had 9-clock hours subluxation with vitreous in AC. Femtosecond laser pre-treatment and intralenticular phacoemulsification assisted by capsule-support hooks was done, and patient was left aphakic. Femtosecond laser helps achieve
closed chamber circular capsulotomy and nuclear fragmentation. Capsulotomy centration was customized as per
the degree and site of subluxation and its circularity was maintained despite use of hooks. Prefragmented nucleus prevents undue zonular stress during emulsification. All cases had best corrected visual acuity of 20/20.
