Nd:YAG Laser Peripheral Iridotomy(LPI) is the preferred procedure for treating Angle Closure Glaucoma(ACG) caused by relative/ absolute pupillary block. LPI eliminates pupillary block by allowing the aqueous to pass directly from the posterior chamber into anterior chamber bypassing the pupil.
The video shows as to which angle needs LPI ,the site to be selected for LPI, the parameters during Nd:YAG LPI, the procedural considerations and the common complications encountered during LPI.
