This video demonstrates the effective management of circumferential bleb causing bleb dysesthesia which was not relieved by conservative management by the procedure of bleb-limiting conjunctivoplasty.
Under local anaesthesia , radial incision was made in the conjunctiva and Tenon’s superonasally upon which an immediate gush of aqueous was noted .The cut ends of the conjunctiva and Tenon’s were secured to the bare sclera with interrupted 10-0 vicryl mattress sutures. A nick was made in the conjunctiva in the inferior quadrant to drain out the aqueous. Immediate flattening of the interpalpebral bulbar conjunctiva was noted post-operatively with preservation of filtration. There was improvement in vision with normal intra-ocular pressure and symptomatic relief. There was no complication or recurrence noted until her latest followup of 8 months.
