An 18 years old female patient presented with long standing vision loss in left eye. It had chronic retinal detachment. Vitrectomy was planned as causative retinal break was not found. A series of complications were faced. They were choroidal exposure during scleral tunnels, subretinal migration of infusion cannula, intraoperative hemorrhage, extrusion of infusion cannula, epithelial edema and lens touch. Each complication was managed with corrective steps. Retina was successfully reattached.
