Background: Endophthalmitis is an inflammation of the interior structures of the eye predominantly due to infection. Post operative Endophthalmitis is one of the most common type of endophthalmitis cataract surgery being the most common cause. Other causes include vitreoretinal surgeries, glaucoma surgeries, intravitreal injections, corneal surgeries. Even after a lot of development and research in treatment, it still instills dread and fear in the minds of the treating surgeons.
Method: In this video we are presenting a series of videos showing various presentations of post operative Endophthalmitis and the management modalities undertaken for the same.
Conclusion: Early diagnosis and timely intervention in accordance with the Endophthalmitis Vitrectomy Studies and the clinical profile of the patient can help us to achieve a better visual outcome in Post Operative Endophthalmitis.
