We report a common case of ocular trauma with glass managed in an uncommon way .A young patient reported us with a sharp full thickness corneal cut of 3 mm at temporal limbus with iris prolapse.AC was flat with corneo lenticular touch.History of trauma and radioimaging were suggestive of some foreign body incarceration.Wound exploration revealed two hidden eye lashes disguising as foreign body.Anterior capsule was torn.Lens aspiration was done along with implantation of foldable intraocular lens through the perforation site itself by holding-folding technique that is holding the lens with one mcphersons forceps and folding it longitudinally upon itself with another.Wound was repaired with 10/0 nylon and anterior chamber was formed with air . Post operative outcome was satisfactory with minimal inflammation.Conclusion-Sharp peripheral corneal tear can judiciously be used for intraocular manipulations obviating need of creating any new wound hence minimizing additional trauma.
