This video describes the initial difficulties of a surgeon in performing cataract surgery following a femtolaser procedure after successfully doing phacoemulsification for more than 15 years. The FLACS is suppose to make a novice surgeon comfortable in doing a cataract surgery but we need to keep in mind that it also has a steep learning curve in dealing with partial incisions, incomplete capsulotomy, hydroprocedures with trapped bubbles in capsular bag, difficulty in nucleus rotation and cortex aspiration.
