Intratunnel phacofracture is a new nucleus management technique of the manual small incision cataract surgery. In this technique nucleus breaking maneuverings take place inside sclerocorneal tunnel in contrast to other nucleotomy techniques where maneuverings take place inside the anterior chamber. Intratunnel phacofracture can be done through 4 to 8 mm wide sclerocorneal tunnel and removed. In this video we are demonstrate intratunnel phacofracture from 4 mm wide sclerocorneal tunnel. It’s simple, inexpensive and reproducible technique. Surgical induced Astigmatism of 4 mm Intratunnel Phacofracture is 0.5 D. Manual small incision cataract surgery can be performed under peribulbar or topical anesthesia
