Aim: Sutureless buckling surgery.
Surgical procedure method: This is an innovative method for sutureless buckling surgery wherein after localization of break 360-degree peritomy is done and cryotherapy of break is done .The partial thickness scleral groove with a crescent blade are made in all quadrants except the quadrant where the break is present. The 240 number band is passed through the scleral tunnel and 276 asymmetrical buckle is placed in the quadrant of the break. After confirmation of indent and relation of the break with the buckle, the ends of silicon band are apposed with cyanoacrylate glue and peritomy closed with fibrin glue.
Result: The patient is symptomatically and cosmetically better postoperatively.
