Anterior segment trauma can have variable clinical presentation. We present one such case where a patient presented to us following trauma with a wooden stick. On examination the patient was found to have an intrastromal corneal foreign body. Preoperative ASOCT helped assess the level and extent of the foreign body. An early surgical intervention was planned in view of organic nature of the foreign body. In this case we emphasis the use of ophthalmic viscosurgical devices for removal of the intrastromal corneal foreign bodies causing minimal iatrogenic damage under the guidance of an intraoperative OCT. The viscoelastic agents help loosen the adhesions surrounding the foreign body and ease the removal with minimal damage to the surrounding tissues. Postoperatively patient had a good anatomical and functional outcome.
